Job opportunities at angel.london

Having recently secured a successful renewal ballot, angel.london is now entering our fourth term running until March 2027.

We are looking to recruit two individuals to the positions of Place Manager and Business Crime Officer to help strengthen our team and deliver activities to support businesses in the Angel. For more information on the roles and how to apply, see below:

Place Manager

Hours: 35 hours per-week. 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (with evening and weekend working on occasion as required)
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Annual Leave: 25 days per annum

The role
This is a multi-faceted, customer-facing role so we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is willing to take ownership of their work and show initiative.

You’ll be working out and about a lot of the time undertaking audits of the area and meeting business owners and managers, so a keen eye for detail and professional, personable approach is all important.

Whilst in the office you’ll be using our Customer Relationship Management system and databases so strong business admin skills will be required. A working knowledge of BIDs and/or town centre management is great, but not essential.

Business Crime Officer

Hours: 35 hours per-week. 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (with evening and weekend working on occasion as required)
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Annual Leave: 25 days per annum

The role
You will be responsible for helping to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour at the Angel by being a visible, uniformed, presence on the streets of the town centre.

Primarily you’ll be undertaking daily patrols of the BID area and meeting retail managers and staff as an ambassador of angel.london, so a friendly, professional, and reassuring attitude is key.

You will act as ‘first responder’ to requests for help from businesses in respect of crime and anti-social behaviour – often in challenging situations – so a confident, calming, and level-headed approach is required.

You’ll be using systems to log activity and reports so some admin skills will be required. A working knowledge of BIDs and/or town centre management is great, but not essential.
