Try something new for free with Angel Loves Summer

Angel Loves Summer is back with a bunch of exciting new activities exclusively for our levy-payers to enjoy on us! It’s a chance for us to say thank you for being part of the BID and for the neighbourhood’s unique businesses to showcase their amazing offerings. 
 
This year you can join EGRO experiential grocery in Camden Passage for two special separate events. Explore the wines of Italy, get a lesson on the grapes used in Prosecco and learn more about Heroic Vineyards at a wine tasting session (August 3 or 10). Then discover more about Italian extra virgin olive oil at a tasting evening (August 2 or 9) where you’ll hear about some of the 530 varieties of olives in Italy and tips on pairing with food.
 
You can also go behind the scenes at the iconic Almeida Theatre with an exclusive backstage tour (August 24 or 31) with Chief Technician Jason Wescombe. Explore the theatre’s dressing rooms, technical spaces and stage, which have recently hosted famous faces including Paul Mescal, Saoirse Ronan and Toheeb Jimoh.
 
Capture the vibrancy of the Angel neighbourhood through a lens by joining professional photographer Marc Gascoigne for a street photography session (August 18). Get some tips on technique, setting and subject before heading out to try your own shots. You’ll then reconvene to share your gems.
