Supporting Circular Business – Grant opportunity for SMEs from January and two lead-in projects open now

Islington Council is partnering with ReLondon to offer grants and expert advice to small businesses based in the borough to help reduce waste by adopting Circular Economy principles and playing a vital role in tackling climate change.

Islington businesses with less than 50 employees can apply for Circular Economy grant funding from January – ‘expression of interest’ pre-registration is open now for a potential grant of between £5,000 / £10,000. Details HERE.

In the meantime, businesses can access expert advice to explore how to reduce waste and increase levels of recycling, reuse, repair, sharing and renting – all while helping them to thrive through two programmes:

  • Build Back Better – a programme offering free advice and guidance to businesses who are new to circular economy and are interested in reducing their waste and becoming more environmentally friendly.
  • Validate Your Model – a programme offering free advice and guidance to businesses who already incorporate circular economy principles into their business model and want to improve their offer.

Islington businesses should sign up to either these programmes by this Friday (17 December) HERE.
