Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend operational update

BUSINESS WASTE AND RECYCLING

Standard business recycling services will continue over the extended bank holiday weekend, so please present your bags and stickered cardboard bundles out for collection as normal.

Recycling bags & Stickers – If you require recycling bags and stickers to cover the extended bank holiday weekend, please email tracy@angel.london as soon as possible as we will not be able to distribute items after tomorrow.

Islington Council has confirmed that it will be offering business waste collection services as normal over the bank holiday weekend too.

If you use a waste contractor other than Islington Council, we strongly advise you to check their schedules over the bank holiday period to ensure that you do not receive a fine if your waste is not collected.

Bespoke collections –
our Recycling Team is taking a well-deserved break over the extended bank holiday weekend, so we will NOT be offering any bespoke collections until Monday of next week.

BUSINESS CRIME OFFICER AND MET POLICE COVER

Gerry, our Business Crime Officer will not be working over the extended bank holiday weekend, however daytime police patrols will continue throughout the weekend by officers on the St Mary’s Safer Neighbourhood Team.

If you, or someone else, is in immediate danger or a serious crime is in process you should always call 999. For non-emergency situations call 101.

PARKGUARD NIGHTSAFE PATROLS

To support late-night licensed premises over the Bank Holiday weekend, Parkguard will be maintaining its Nightsafe service patrols on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Any late-night levy paying licensed business should contact Parkguard in the normal way if assistance is required.
