New Hospitality Grant from Islington Council

The hospitality sector in Islington is an integral part of the borough’s identity and key to rebuilding the local economy.

It is for this reason that Islington Council is opening its Hospitality Grants Scheme today (26 October). The new Grant Scheme supports:

a. Independent cafes, wine bars and restaurants (not takeaways)
b. Community venues (for hire) such as a banqueting venue, church/community hall or sports club, who generate income via seasonal functions
c. Independent pubs, nightclubs and grassroots cultural venues (including performance and exhibition spaces)

Grants available will range from £5,000 to £15,000 based on a business premises rateable value and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis, until the funding allocation is exhausted.

Before applying for the new Grant, it is important to ensure that your business meets the ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA.
