Highbury & Islington named as most resilient retail area in Greater London

Highbury & Islington has taken the number one spot in a study of retail resilience in outer London town centres.

The study, by property consultancy Savills UK, examined 40 outer London high street areas and ranked them in terms of ‘health, vibrancy, size and affluence’.

The Angel received special mention for Highbury & Islington being ranked top, with the report authors noting the refurbished Angel Central and blend of offering in Chapel Market, Camden Passage and Upper Street all contributing to strong footfall and resilience.

The findings were featured in a recent article in the Evening Standard
