Go Africa Festival – 30 October

As part of October’s Black History Month, Go Africa – a movement mobilising the African & Caribbean creative communities to come together to showcase talent, art, and culture in London – is holding a festival in St Mary’s Community Centre on Upper Street.

The festival will take place on Saturday 30 October between 12 noon and 5pm and will feature local African artists, dance groups and food & drink. The programme includes flower bashing, water painting, Adire tie-dye and wellbeing workshops.

A collection of independent creative businesses spanning the African Diaspora will be selling everything from bold statement necklaces inspired by the continent to ethical textile home products featuring domestic homewares from Congo, Artwork from Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa to natural skincare from The Gambia.
