COVID-19: Preparing your business for opening after lockdown as at 01.05.20

As the government prepares to announce its plans for restarting the economy after lockdown, it is important you start to consider the measures you will need to put in place in your business to enable safe working. The two documents highlighted below are a good starting point if you are either a non-food retail business or office.

Non-Food Retail Stores

The British Retail Consortium and Union of Shop, Distribution and Allied Workers has published detailed guidance on the implementation of social distancing in non-food retail baed on government advice.

Office Workplaces

Cushman & Wakefield has produced a very detailed guide to help office-based businesses plan for re-opening. The guide is somewhat aimed towards very large office buildings, but the principles highlighted can be applied to workplaces of any kind. The full guide can be downloaded from the link below:
