SAFER
Angel Town Centre Police Team officers are continuing to patrol the town centre, supporting businesses as required.
If you, or your employees, require assistance relating to a non-emergency business crime, you can contact them on 07769 586 996. In the case of an emergency, you should call 999
Guidance for business owners and employers has been produced by the Met Police Business Crime Hub in a document HERE
The National Crime Agency has joined forces with other leading organisations to warn the public and businesses of fraud and scams relating to COVID-19
At a local level we have been made aware by Islington Council that businesses are being approached by organisations asking for a fee to secure a COVID-19 grant. Please DO NOT believe this or engage with such companies. Islington Council is handling business grants directly.

STRONGER
We are working closely with our strategic partners to ensure that Angel’s businesses have the support you need in these unprecedented times.
Christine, our Chief Executive, participates in a daily video conference call with senior managers at Islington Council. This gives us knowledge of the Council’s progress in supporting the Angel’s businesses through grant funding etc. and also means we are a vital conduit to feedback issues, concerns (and compliments) on behalf of the business community.
Since the start of the outbreak we have been sending e-shots to business giving guidance and advice tailored for you, our BID levy payers. All of the e-shots are available on our website.
The Business Support website created by the Govt. provides official guidance and support to businesses.
We also recommend the London Growth Hub website as an excellent resource for Angel’s businesses.
If you have any business related query, or would like to discuss anything, please contact us on christine@angel.london or call 020 7288 4377.
