Bring your little sparks to Islington Fire Station Black History Month open day
Feast on delicious African and Caribbean food while getting up close to a fire engine at Islington Fire Station’s open day to mark Black History Month.
The station has an action-packed afternoon in store on Sunday, October 1, with music, dance, stalls and activities. Also attending will be blood cancer and disorder charity ACLT which aims to raise awareness about the shortage of donors on the UK stem cell, blood and organ donor register.

1.15pm Welcome address by Islington Borough Commander, Mayor of Islington and ACLT

2.20pm Eritrean Youth Club Cultural Group and Children’s Cultural Dance and Fashion Show
3pm London International Gospel Choir
3.30pm Performance by Artivities using Djembe drums followed by interactive drum session
