Net Zero Festival

Angel’s Net Zero Strategy launched at the Net Zero Festival

Angel Islington BID launched its plans for a more sustainable locale at the Net Zero Festival last month in a segment focusing on neighbourhood-level efforts to tackle carbon reduction.

The panel, chaired by BID Chief Executive Ben Stephenson (pictured left), featured other London BIDs that have been collaborating with their members to deliver innovative projects such as consolidated local deliveries, energy saving measures and recycling.

The Net Zero Festival took place at the Business Design Centre, where some 3,500 people heard from expert speakers from across the business world and third sector, as well as well-known activists including Alistair Campbell and Joanna Lumley.
