BEN STEPHENSON
Chief Executive
Ben has a wealth of experience and expertise in leading Business Improvement Districts, having been a previous Chief Executive of Waterloo BID. Ben also runs his own economic development consultancy that specialises in placemaking, branding, stakeholder engagement and neighbourhood planning.
Tracy has been with the team since 2007 and is the person you're most likely to speak to when you call the office. Tracy makes sure that everything runs smoothly, that everyone is put in touch with the right person, that all businesses know where to go to get what they need and, if that's not enough, she oversees projects of her own.
Mark has worked in the Angel area for nearly twenty years in various capacities for both public and private sector. He has been with angel.london since our inception, and in 2009 working in conjunction with other London BIDs he steered angel.london through an ERDF-funded environmental project which benefitted nearly a quarter of our members. More recently he set up the only BID coffee-grounds-to-bio-fuel recycling project in London.
John's professional background is in destination marketing and communications, having previously worked to promote Bath, Bournemouth and Brighton & Hove to visitors. John also brings with him a wealth of experience in brand identity and development. John's role is to communicate the objectives, projects and achievements of angel.london to our stakeholders and the wider community.
Jan’s background is in local government where she has extensive experience managing a wide range of services. Her particular areas of expertise are licensing, environmental health, trading standards, licensing, emergency resilience and community safety, having spent much of her career in Islington. Jan’s role is to work with the business crime team to make Angel a safer place and as such is the coordinator of the Pubwatch and Business Crime Reduction Partnership.
Ellie brings a wealth of experience in B2B account management to angel.london, having previously worked for one of the UK's leading hospitality booking software companies. In her role Ellie will be working with businesses to ensure that they access the range of services angel.london offers. Ellie will also be responsible for making sure the town centre is as welcoming as possible to those who work, shop, socialise and visit.
Gerry has extensive policing, anti-social behaviour and enforcement experience and is certified as a London Ambassador. Gerry has great empathy, having worked for Victim Support and has previously received the Mayors Special Award for Services to the Community. Gerry is a fully licensed SIA Officer.
Leoni comes to the Angel with a wealth of knowledge and experience having been part of the safety and security team at Westfield Stratford. A fully licensed SIA Officer, Leoni is also a qualified first-aider, masseuse and a keen sports enthusiast.
