Crossrail 2 in detail – please comment

It’s now time to have your say on the detail of TfL’s Crossrail 2 plans for Angel. We’ve proved that what we say matters by winning the campaign to save the iconic Co-op building from demolition, so let’s make our views heard again.

The £27bn Surrey to Hertfordshire line will definitely stop at Angel, relieving overcrowding on the Northern line and cutting journey times.

TfL are now consulting on

• where the new station will be, entrances and exits
• where the shafts will be located, for the tunnelled sections
• construction sites for building and operating the tunnelled section
• proposed service pattern

We are determined to keep a watchful eye out that TfL consider the needs of businesses at the Angel at every stage.

Consultations ends on 8 January 2016 and the earliest the scheme could be open is 2030. The proposals are still in early development and subject to funding and approval. The scheme relevant to the Angel is here
